The Robert Waters School celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month. Students learned about the histories, cultures and contributions of Hispanic communities. It was a wonderful experience for everyone.

World Mental Health Day is celebrated on October 10th all across the globe with the aim to promote, educate and raise awareness of mental health issues. The focus of this day is also to get people talking about their mental health and eradicate stigmas associated with mental illness. World Mental Health Day is supported by The World Health Organization which organizes events and sets a theme for the year.

Please be advised the Hudson Regional Health Commission in partnership with the City of Union City, are offering all recommended childhood vaccinations FREE for ELIGIBLE children on Thursday October 10, 2024 from 1:00PM-5:00PM at the Union City Public Library. On October 2, 2024, the Robert Waters School celebrated National Custodian Appreciation Day! Custodians and cleaning personnel were honored with a thank you breakfast and delicious treats. They also received a “Custodial Staff Survival Kit”, filled with some goodies too. Students created cards to say thank you and wrote heartfelt messages of appreciation, which were displayed throughout the school building.
