Mrs. Fernandez's second-grade students at RWS are learning about taking care of the planet. They read an article on Scholastic News about the endangered Black-Footed Cat in South Africa. Students did additional research to compose an informative writing piece and then created a poster to advocate for this magnificent feline. They also adopted a black-footed cat to help protect their habitat.
